Rules & Guidelines

  • ITI identity cards will be issued within a reasonable time after admission and must be carried on campus.
  • Students should maintain regular attendance; repeated absence without information is not permitted.
  • Learners are responsible for proper handling of tools, machines and equipment. Any damage caused by negligence may need to be compensated.
  • Students who fail in term or final examinations may be allowed to reappear by following the institute’s re-examination rules and paying the prescribed fee.
  • Non-payment of tuition fees for an extended period may lead to removal of the student’s name from the rolls.
  • Students must arrange their own notebooks, uniforms, required personal tools and accessories. Training tools used in class will be provided by the institute where necessary.
  • A minimum attendance of 75% is normally required to be eligible for receiving diplomas/certificates.
  • Students must secure the minimum prescribed marks in both theory and practical examinations.
  • Smoking, chewing tobacco, consumption of alcohol or use of narcotic substances are strictly prohibited on the campus.
  • Fees once paid are generally not refundable.

Discipline

All trainees are under the disciplinary control of the Principal or designated authorities.

Students must follow the institute’s code of conduct regarding punctuality, classroom behaviour, use of facilities and respect for staff and fellow trainees.

  • Black formal shoes.
Note: Students are expected to wear the prescribed uniform from home to campus and back on all working days.
